The Barebones would be an interesting discussion subject.
Why is Mary Lou so obsessed with witches and 2nd Salemers?
Is there, was there a Mr Barebone?
Why did Mary Lou adopt (or abducted?) children likely to be from Wizards?
Are Credence, Chastity & Modesty related?
What would happen to Modesty after loosing her adopted family?
Who were all those children who distributing leaflets?
Where did the Barebones money come from?
Minalima produced those leaflets, which include more details eg regular weekly meetings etc.

Yes ! We need a Barebones talk ! Do we know if the 2nd Salemers are “just” Mary Lou and her kids or could she be part of a larger organisation ? I’m still puzzled by the 2nd Salemers… I guess we were many to imagine something bigger and more powerful than that… Even if the message Jo give us with Mary Lou’s character is pretty strong and chilling.

Great episode ! About Newt’s magical knowledges : he’s around 30 in 192 6, if he was expelled at 16, he really had time to complete his learning after leaving Hogwarts. Travelling is a very good way to complete any formation. I’ll like to see if he learned other kind of magic in other countries. About Care of Magical Creatures, I don’t think that existed during Newt’s years. His book is the first book of this kind and changed the way wizards consider magical creatures. Newt’s works is probably the reason this lesson is created in Hogwarts.
About the question of the week : what about Seraphina Pickery ? I’m quite disappointed by her very minor role in the movie. Jo and Pottermore gave us so many details about her, she was the only one we knew the Ilvermorny house, wand’s origine and even that she’s left handed (?) ! She was presented as such a badass character… If we don’t see her more in the next movies I really don’t understand why Jo gave so many details about her. But how can she be in futur movies, since we are leaving USA ? Or maybe it’s a lost plot line… Or maybe Jo is planning a spinoff about her ??
